The mission of Hoosier Lawn Cards is to make your event unforgettable. We offer customized lawn cards to match your special event. Our goal is to provide superior customer service to make sure your occasion is unique and special.
We make every effort to make the process as simple and easy as possible for you. Once you fill out a booking request, we will contact you within 24 hours of your submission to confirm availability and process payment.
Your date is confirmed once payment is received. We will deliver and set up your sign rental, as well as retrieve it. All we ask is to try and make sure someone is aware of the delivery for the safety of our sign ninjas.

In 1982 Gina and Mike Cox opened the Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen as a lunch counter at 2525 Bardstown Road, in what was formerly an old Chevrolet dealership, then converted to a small neighborhood center on the outer edge of the historic Highlands district in Louisville. Everyday they would serve lunch and meals from the lunch counter, baking was a small part of the business. They started making one or two pies a day. The smell overwhelmed the lunch counter and soon they became well known for fresh baked pies. The pies became so popular that the lunch counter was changed over to make way for a pie case, which was soon followed by an ice cream case. Soon thereafter they purchased an ice cream machine in order to follow in the tradition of making everything from scratch.
Quickly that grew to include fresh baked cakes, cookies, and many other old fashion desserts, like meringue pies, strawberry rhubarb, peach and pumpkin pies. They served old fashioned malts, sundaes and many more truly great traditional desserts. In 2005 Adam and Mary Lee Burckle, who have been in the baking business since 1983, purchased the Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen. A year later they opened another neighborhood store based on strong customer demand.
The recipes were handed down and, still to this day, we scratch make and bake all of our cakes, pies & desserts as well as our delicious fresh churned ice cream. The "Pie Kitchen", as many locals refer to it, has grown to over 100 employees and eight neighborhood stores. It is a family business down to the true sense of the words.
